Shield Argent an oak eradicated Vert between two almond branches Vert blossomed Gules seeded Or, issuant from base an embattled castle wall Azure masoned Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "CARVIÇAIS".
Meaning:
The toponym "carviçais", trivially the plural of "carviçal", seems to mean a place characterised by gall oak and kermes oak scrubland: The oak on the arms, albeit usually meant to refer rather to Quercus faginea or Quercus roburin Portuguese heraldry, may here symbolise this etymology.
